Boats and Wakes

Moving boats will leave a wake in the water. It's what boats do. The size of the wake depends on the speed and size of the boat. When you are close to shore or around many other boats, it's best to slow down so that your wake doesn't negatively impact others.

When you’re out in the open water feel free to put the throttle down and go fast. The wind in your face feels great as you feel the power of your boat cutting through the water. Even during this time, it's good to be on the lookout for other boats and obstacles (stay in control).

As we move along our journey in life, we should be leaving a wake around and behind us for others to see and feel. However, be mindful of the type of wake that we leave behind as your circumstances change. It's also okay to just park your boat and enjoy the moment.
